About

Taylor joins the AisleTalk internship training program in her final year of graduate studies as a Master of Education candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University's Mental Health Counseling program.

As a counselor, Taylor strives to create a collaborative and nonjudgmental space to empower clients to explore their experiences, challenges, and aspirations openly and authentically. Through empathy, authenticity, and respect, she aims to foster a therapeutic environment where healing and growth can flourish. By establishing a collaborative relationship built on trust, Taylor works with her clients together to navigate life’s complexities with greater resilience and clarity, enabling them to live more genuinely and purposefully.

In her approach, Taylor deeply values a multicultural perspective and acknowledge the vital importance of considering diverse beliefs and backgrounds. As an Asian American woman, she personally understands the profound impact of cultural beliefs and values on one's life. With this insight, she is committed to offering culturally competent care and creating a safe environment for all marginalized communities.

Taylor strongly believes that each individual's journey is unique and will utilize an integrative approach that draws from various therapeutic modalities to help meet each client's unique needs and goals. With a keen interest in understanding how environment shapes your current interpersonal relationships and identities, Taylor is dedicated to exploring these dynamics.

Together, you will be able to explore, reflect on, and acquire insight into recurring patterns in your life, allowing you to embark on a journey of self-awareness and growth.
